Public Records is the largest of New York's listening rooms and the least apologetic about being a venue as well: the Sound Room is built around a custom system by Devon Turnbull of Ojas, the design is stripped back, and the selectors treat the records with a curator's care.
The Sound Room and the rest of the building are two different nights out. Decide which one you came for before you arrive.
