Bambino takes the essence of the Japanese jazz kissa and gives it a contemporary Parisian twist: a raw concrete bar, vintage-inflected decor, a deep vinyl collection and an audiophile system. Early evening it behaves like a listening room; by the weekend it is a dance bar running on funk and disco.
Go before nine if you came to listen. After that the room belongs to the dancers, which is its own argument for staying.
